Our way of expressing the importance of nonwovens is our motto: “Everywhere in life!” We’ve already been using them as our tea bags or baby diapers without recognizing so far, and now, with Covid-19 pandemic, nonwovens have been settled and rooted in our lives more than ever because we all are more familiar to disposable products, protective clothing and, surgical masks more than ever.

Nonwovens allow to produce disposable masks and clothes because they are produced quicker and more cost-effective compared to other textile fabrics. With this advantage, they’ve become the most important effective equipment to prevent the transmission Covid-19. Since they do not require to wash, they also help us to protect our water sources. Nevertheless, even though they make our lives easier, they are plastic-based material and they need to be re-cycle to protect our World. We always remind to throw the disposables to plastic re-cycling bins.

In Ritaş, we’ve adopted the precautions to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 not only among our colleagues but also among our partners who are delivered our goods. Thanks to the precautions, we’ve been continuing to supply the nonwovens to our partners and taking our commercial and social responsibility in the fight with Covid-19.
